Anxiety is hard to control and has affected my relationship with my boyfriend, friends and family in a bad way. I just wish there was something to snap me out when it takes over.

Sometimes I don't want to leave the house, but force myself. Nothing could go wrong all day, everything could be perfect, and I still have this feeling something awful is going to happen. It's so hard to be sick with an invisable disease, that others don't seem to be able to understand.

I did in my 20's and early 30's, but when I hit my 40's, I started to let it all go. Liberation!

I'm a big overthinker. Although my first instinct is typically a good one, I do a pretty good job of ruining everything by overthinking most situations in my life.

Yes I do it drives people crazy I'll flip out about things that have yet to even happen and I'll just dwell on it and argue how it won't work or how it'll fail and I get told "we'll worry about it when it comes" and I just flip out and I can shut down and just give up either say "I'm not going!" "Or its stupid anyway!" It's horrible it'll even give me a panic attack if I feel theirs no resolution I feel crazy acting like that and I know I overreact a lot

Sometimes I drive around the grocery parking lot for about 30 minutes and decide if I'm going to go inside or not. It sucks.I feel like people are always staring at me or talking about me. Its such a scary feeling honestly.

In my earliest memories I had anxiety. My family has always just called me weird, odd, and crazy. It wasn't until a panic attack sent my older brother to the hospital, and he got diagnosed with anxiety, and was telling me what he had told the doctor, that I realized this isn't just who I am this is Anxiety.
It has been an everyday struggle for me that has recently gotten worse. I don't know if it's cuz I'm 25 or cuz I know what's wrong now or it's just that having two toddlers and living with my in-laws is stressful as can be.
If that's not bad enough my three year old shows signs that he inherited this from me. Obviously I go crazy over that in my own head.
The worst part of Anxiety is people not understanding and they put you in situations that make you have an attack and just stand there and look at you like your insane making it SO MUCH WORSE.

All thru out high school and even before and still after i have anxiety i would stay up till 2-3 in the morning to find something to wear and i just would sit there and cry because i wouldn't be able to find something and my parents and boyfriend just didn't understand why i would just freak out over a simple outfit and it wasn't until recently that my boyfriend has been a lot more supportive of my panic attacks. Definitely feels a lot better knowing i have a support system and alhaving a better understanding and grip of my anxiety????

Having an anxiety attack is such an aweful feeling.
When I feel one coming a get all edgie my mind starts racing out of control and I'm not able to stablelize my thoughts then my heart starts racing I start shaking sweating stuttering and I just feel like I'm going to die.
I feel desperate like I need to escape run run far my blood pressure as gotten as high as 220/178 and I have been rushed to the ER many times but thanks to my therapist and some techniques shtought tought me I have been able to identified and deal with it but when it doesn't work I take ativan and it really helps. I'm home bound most of the time because I also have social anxiety. Many don't understand but I'm lucky to have a fiancé who nows the sings when I'm having what I call a moment (anxiety attack )

My anxiety goes off over the littlest things like if my shirt doesn't fit right I feel like everyone is looking at me weird to my hair not looking right, to having a pimple, a certain smell that brings back an awkward/bad memory. Right now I'm planning a wedding, and my anxiety has been so bad that I'm over thinking the whole thing, kicked two ppl out of my wedding party, almost called off the wedding twice and had multiple mental break downs!

I really don't and I think it has to do with being a mother of three. I used to, for sure, and I still did even after my first kid, but at some point you just get to an age where you don't have to care about certain little things anymore. You see the bigger picture more efficiently.

ABSOLUTELY. Whether I'm attempting to find the perfect avocado at the grocery store, or trying to get the one fly-away into my pony tail, anxiety is ever present.

Yes. I can tend to let small stuff turn into big stuff just by overthinking things. PS. This woman putting such a positive twist on serious anxiety is amazing.
