I usually take a 20 minute nap because it's the only way I can turn my head off. Then I get up with a clear mind, pull out my planner and make a handwritten prioritized to do list and give myself a deadline for each so I only focus on one at a time, which makes it less overwhelming. The feeling of crossing off each thing is gratifying.

The important thing is being able to do it anywhere, so I have yet to find something that really works for me. Also, that whole memory loss thing - SO TRUE!

deep breathing. It sounds so simple, but if you don't take the time to do it and do it right, then you are really missing out on a quick fix!

I've never had a panic attack or any kind of stress meltdown so I guess I'm doing alright? I'm not one to be able to silence everything and meditate or sleep it out. So, I have to tell myself to snap out of it and get over it usually. One thing at a time!!

I sort of do. I can tend to shut down and just sleep stress away, but I've recently switched that to just extending my normal gym time on especially stressful days. Baby steps.
