Modest reforms are giving Saudi Arabian women a voice: Is their call being heard?
Agreed! Sometimes progress is slow, but at least it's moving upward. Not only religious rights, but rights by LAW. That's the scary part to me. What are thoughts about religious views VS social cultural practices? And at what point should we be helping them speak out (even if some are breaking the law by doing so?)
I'm just glad to hear that their movement is bringing into question the antiquated religious impact upon the rights of Saudia Arabian women!
Social media is giving women a platform to be vocal, and it is making an impact. But it's a long way till they arrive at equality.
I think any progress for Saudi women speaks volumes. They're on their way.
