My boyfriend is the most supportive loving person in my life. I'm lucky to be able to talk to him when my anxiety gets the best of me.

I don't have anyone where I can express what I am feeling without judgement. That makes the situation worse. I have just learned to surprises it ad try to move on.

I've got friends and family I can count on to be there for me if I'm upset and need someone to talk to, or just feel as though everything is going wrong and I'm lost. I like to think those people can count on me as well. If a friend (or even a stranger) came to me concerned about their wellbeing, fears, or negative thoughts I'd listen, and try to help to the best of my ability.

My sister is always a phone call away and is the greatest person to talk me out of the cyclical thoughts of anxiety. I don't know what I'd do without her.

Having a support system is the #1 most important way to cope with anxiety, depression, mania, and all mental health issues. The most important thing you need to hear when you're in a dark place is that you are NOT ALONE. Find someone to talk to. You can always come to VProud and find your support right here, no judgement, just women who are here to talk to when the going gets rough.
